Went to Lee and Jackie`s for tea last night, and am absolutely gobsmacked by the amount of take out choices we had! You forget living in a village what it`s like to be part of cosmopolitan Chorlton!! Japanese it was, and a great night had by all :)

Went out with Mat and Sharon to celebrate his Birthday ~ Rockwells in Runcorn. Was a pretty funky place and the food portions were enormous!!

There was no getting away from it.......it was finally fish pie night! Macker`s fvourite :) Villa lost to Arsenal as well today, so here we are back in the relegation zone with some tough games ahead. Horrible times :(

Absolutely beautiful day! Went for a walk, after a long gruelling afternoon crunching figures......trying to get the book to balance on Cheadle has been a nightmare! On the plus side thoug, we have got another 4 k to come :)

Rich still got backache, so finally got an appointment at the Doctors. Taken him off the Simvastatin and put him on another drug, so we`ll see if he gets better quicker now!

After such an eventful weekend, decided to finish it off nicely, with a Sunday tea out at Elmas in Lymm. Halloumi, Humous, Olives and Pitta. Marvellous :)

Felt absolutely dreadful all day!! Ordered a take out for tea.......2 types of curry. Fair to say, and I like my chillies, the one at the back of the bowl was the HOTTEST thing I have ever eaten in my life! Woman v Food .........and I only just won :)

Wet snowy day ...! Had a meeting at lunch with McColls then decided to go and have tea at Pastiche for an early Valentine`s treat! Can`t stand going out on Valentine`s .....all seems a bit forced!

Pancake Day! Yum....pancakes with lemon and sugar, and pancakes with Golden Syrup. A great big smack of my childhood :) 40 minute walk again today as well.

Still feeling rough, so went up to Booths and raped and pillaged the Veggie section! There`s nothing better than a fridge full of "health!" Cooked Veggie Chow Mein tonight ~ was yum and only 200 calories! Bonus!

FINALLY!!!!! 3 points on the board and out of the relegation zone! Beat West Ham 2 -1 ........ with us scoring an own goal with 10 minutes to go so was all a bit tense!!! Very happy.....! More of the same needed now.......

Jenny`s Birthday! Went into Lymm for cocktails at The Venue followed by a meal at Elmas. My tapas was absolutely beautiful, though Jen`s duck pasta was a touch on the sweet side! But 3 cocktails in, the night was over.........lightweight Large strikes again :)

Miserable day again, so made a big pan of Slow Roasted Vegetable soup. Took Macker`s car for service, had a couple of pints in The Barn Owl, then came home for a night on the sofa with Burkie and England V Brazil, which we won 2 -1..... :)

Snowed on and off all morning, then we went to meet The Rigby`s at the Hazel Pear in Acton Bridge. Good meeting ~ and a bonus that the food was fab! Had the biggest fish platter, you have EVER seen!

Cold day, and looks like we are set for more snow! Sorted out the sofa from Ann to Mat`s and luckily it all fitted perfectly! Homemade tomato soup for lunch, then Broccoli pasta for tea. Very healthy day :)
