Woke up feeling shocking ( surprise!) so sat like a coiled spring till McDonalds opened for their lunch menu. Bit like these folks below :) Spent the day eating, eating and eating!! Bad news as well, as Stoke won today, but Newcastle lost and Wigan drew, so there is still a relegation battle to be had! Good news too though ~ Mat`s tumour has shrunk to being virtually non existent, so that`s fab news !

Sad news today. Rusty has had to go to Doggy Heaven. He`s not been well for a while now, and Ann had to make the decision to call the vets ~ and sadly they decided he was suffering too much :( RIP Rusty.

Man United v Villa today. Fair to say it was a rubbish day for Villa ~ you don`t need to know the score.......! And to make matters worse ~ United won the Premiership on the back of it ~ whilst plunging us deeper into the relegation battle. Damn.

It was the funeral of Maggie Thatcher today. Protests were muted by the outpouring of support and clapping. I`m pleased, because whatever anyone thinks, she did fantastic things for this country at the time.

Finally the day came to go and see Cats in Manchester! It was amazing and we went for drinks after and then tea at the Thresher. One of life`s good days :)

The sad day has come when my poor little Badger had to "get it". Had a real chocloate craving ~ and nothing at all in the house. I have eaten his bottom, but his cheeky little face still survives in the fridge!

Disappointing day for the Villa. We were beating Fulham quite comfortably ~ until yet again, we scored an own goal. We really are in the mire now......only glimpse of hope is that Wigan have lost their 2 games in hand.

Didn`t do a lot today, and unfortunately I`ve developed a new habit ~ I`m addicted to whole fruits and nuts. Trouble is, I could eat a whole bag once opened, and I`m in the process of trying to get fitter not fatter!

Rich worked so hard today getting Blackburn to a point of near completion, that by the time he`d done, there was nothing else for it but to retreat to The Jolly Thresher for our tea and a chat about Fantasy Football....! Saw Avril and Nigel in there as well.

Sad news. The most controversial Prime Minister in our history passed away today aged 87. Love her or loathe her, Margaret Thatcher single handedly led an economic revolution for the country and inspired millions of little girls to believe they could be whatever they wanted to be. I hope her family are allowed to grieve in peace, and the haters respect the fact that above all, she was a Mum and wife.

Tom and Mary had to stay another night, as Mary being sent for an X-Ray tomorrow, to see what`s going on with her heart and lungs. They took us out for dinner to say a big thank you, which was lovely :)
