Packed up the bags and scooted up to Wasdale Head to camp for a couple of days. Going to attempt Scafell Pike tomorrow. The weather is pretty miserable and damp, but the camp site is in the gardens of The Wasdale Head Inn, so if it gets too bad, there`s a bar for refuge :) Only bad point, is we appear to have been surrounded buy a stag party.....could only happen to us! Queue lots of braying and general guffawing.........
